Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all orders and override any previous agreements. By acknowledging receipt of your order, you accept that our terms and conditions are the only ones that apply to the contract, regardless of any terms you may propose.

2. Payment Terms

Unless you have an account with us, payment is required at the time of order. For account customers, payment must be made in full within 30 days from the invoice date. Failure to make payment on time may result in additional costs. If accounts exceed 90 days, we may instruct solicitors to recover the debt, and you will be responsible for these additional costs, as outlined below:

(a) For debts under £1000, a £40 charge;
(b) For debts of £1000 to £10,000, a £70 charge;
(c) For debts of £10,000 or more, a £100 charge.

Interest will be charged in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act, plus £25 + VAT for solicitor fees.

3. Discounts

We offer discounts on the condition that accounts are settled by the due date. If an account becomes overdue, we reserve the right to invoice for any discounts applied.

4. Passing of Title and Risk

4.1 The risk in goods transfers to you upon delivery.
4.2 Ownership of all goods, whether delivered or not, remains with us until full payment is received.

5. Products

We reserve the right to change product details without prior notice. While we make every effort to ensure product descriptions are accurate, we cannot guarantee their completeness, and we accept no responsibility for errors or misdescriptions and any resulting losses.

6. Quotations and Contracts

Orders are accepted subject to adjustments in pricing based on changes in the law, government regulations, or any direct taxation, import duties, or other related charges.

7. Prices

Unless otherwise stated, all prices are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate.

8. Delivery

8.1 While we aim to deliver on time, any specified delivery dates are estimates only. We accept no liability for losses due to delays. Delivery charges apply based on the rates at the time of delivery.
8.2 We can arrange special rush deliveries, but these may incur additional charges.

9. Quantity Variation

We will consider the contract fulfilled if we deliver a quantity within 5% more or less than the amount ordered. You will be charged the contract rate for the quantity delivered.

10. Claims

10.1 Claims for damage, delay, or partial loss in transit must be submitted in writing within 5 days of delivery.
10.2 Claims regarding quality or quantity must be made in writing within 5 days of receipt. If not received within this time, goods will be deemed to comply with the contract.
10.3 You must inspect all goods at delivery. We cannot be held liable for damage or loss unless noted on the delivery note at the time of delivery.
10.4 Claims for non-delivery must be made in writing within 4 days of receiving the invoice.

11. Liability

11.1 Our liability for loss or damage shall be limited to the contract value of the goods, except in cases where defects result in death, injury, or damage to personal property.
11.2 We do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage arising from goods supplied under this contract unless you follow the claims procedure outlined in clause 10.
11.3 These terms do not affect the rights of consumers.

12. Cancellation Charges

We will apply a charge for all cancelled orders, including any work completed up to the point of written cancellation.

13. Overdue Accounts

13.1 We will not deliver goods on accounts that remain unpaid 14 days after the due date. Interest will be charged at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, plus a £40 charge under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act, until payment is received. This does not affect our right to pursue overdue accounts through legal means.
13.2 We reserve the right to charge for legal or collection costs if we must use third parties or court action to recover overdue payments.

14. Quantity Changes to Orders

Changes to order quantities must be submitted in writing before processing begins. Any increase in order quantity will be treated as a separate contract unless written notification is received prior to work starting on the original order.

15. Artwork and Printing

The copyright for all printing plates, litho positives, negatives, artwork, designs, photographic transparencies, and any other materials created by Print IT belongs to us. We agree not to reproduce these items for any competitor, provided the customer is not in default of payment.

15.1 Customers supplying their own artwork must send PDF or JPG formats. All fonts should be outlined as curves, and the artwork must be in CMYK with bleed and crop marks. We will not reprint artwork with colour issues due to incorrect RGB files.
15.2 Once an order is placed and paid, we will produce a proof. Printing begins once you approve the proof. Cancellation charges are as follows:

a) Before proof: 0%
b) At proof stage: £20
c) After proof: 100%.

16. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to meet obligations due to events outside our reasonable control, including the inability to procure materials at regular prices. In such cases, we reserve the right to terminate the contract without liability.

17. Miscellaneous

This contract will be governed by English law.

18. Price Changes

All prices are subject to change. If there is a price increase, the prices on online purchases will be honoured at the website price.

19. Order Confirmation

Orders placed over the phone must be confirmed by email. We will not begin work until we receive email confirmation.
