23rd March Update:-
From today we will be requesting customers pay with the correct money or contactless. Also we are operating a 1 out 1 in policy. Space in the shop has been reduced to stop people getting to close to others.
Also our hours have changed for access to the shop. The shop is now open 10am-12pm & 2pm – 4pm. Outside these times we will be available on phone, online and also doing deliveries however people are unable to come to the shop
Here at Print IT we’re committed to providing you with the best service
consistently through the thick and thin.
In response to the current COVID-19 situation in the UK, Print IT has already taken a number of precautionary measures to ensure we can continue to support you and your business as well as keeping our staff safe.
We are following guidance and advice issued by HM Government, Public Health England and various medical professionals.
It’s Business As Usual
– We have reviewed our entire supply chain. We have full confidence in our supply of all materials to meet demand and currently stock over 12 weeks’ worth of consumables.
– We have taken steps to work remotely should the need arise. If needs be orders placed will be fulfilled and delivered by courier.
– We are committed to doing everything in our power to ensure we continue to support you and your business.
We have taken steps to ensure the areas are all as clear as we can. There is now a table at the front which is creating enough distance between staff and customers.
The counter and machinery in the front is sanitised and clean with various chemicals throughout the day.
After every customer is served staff are washing hands to ensure the virus does not spread should it get in the building.
Advice has been taken with regards to currency. as of Monday 23rd we will be going cashless. This decision is something we have not wanted to do but various medical professionals have agreed that there is a risk with the virus living on the currency, so we will go cashless to protect members of staff and management, the last thing I want is to have to close the business because of this. The teams plan is to serve the customers as best we can.
All staff are meeting regularly to monitor the situation carefully. This page will be updated regularly.
Should this situation get worse we will be restricting the hours of the shop to protect customers and staff from this pandemic. Within this time we will ask customers to email jobs over and they will be advised when to come in.
– We have placed hand sanitiser, Isoproyl Alcohol, Foam Cleaner on the front counter.
– We are encouraging our team to follow basic hygiene protocols as recommended
by the World Health Organisation, as management I have requested the song Happy Birthday for 20 seconds, however staff have used various songs I almost think we should be doing Karaoke rather than printing at times.
